Sean Griffin (b. 1949- ) is an award-winning American fine art and portrait photographer who divides his time between the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States and the lush Sonoran Desert of Arizona. His work has been recognized by The Smithsonian, among others.
In addition to his paid work, he is a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit organization providing remembrance photos for families whose babies will not be coming home from the hospital. Donations of his art have benefited the Susan Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, the Seabury School, the Nisqually Nature Center and the Anderson Island Historical Society.
Sean is not a fan of PhotoShop or other photo-manipulation tools, although he appreciates works created with them as a distinct art classification; he'd rather capture the right image in the right way by paying attention to the fundamentals of photography.
